    This is a staff psychologist position, with emphasis on psychological testing. Depending on department needs and provider interest, position may also include opportunities for outpatient psychotherapy and consultation to inpatient medical units. It is a full-time position in Minneapolis (UMMC West Bank).

    Responsibilities/Job Description

    -Conduct psychological testing, including pre-bariatric psychological evaluations and ADHD evaluations. Document and recommend psychological interventions based on the results of psychological evaluations and in conjunction with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

    -Conduct diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and couples therapy.

    -Provide consultation to inpatient medical units, including perinatal consultation.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    •   Doctoral Degree in Psychology
    •   Licensed as LP in the State of Minnesota
    •   2 years post-licensure experience

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Child/adolescent and adult experience preferred
    • 5 years post LP licensure
    • Knowledge of health conditions and common co-morbidities
    • Knowledge of the continuum of behavioral health care services (i.e. within surrounding communities)
    • Experience with Epic
