    Fairview Health Services is looking for a Supply Chain Operations Site Supervisor at our University of Minnesota Medical Center (East Bank) in Minneapolis, MN.The Fairview Supply Chain team provides safe and reliable products and services to enable exceptional clinical care. 

     

    This position is benefit eligible.

    Responsibilities/Job Description

    The Supply Chain Operations Site Supervisor is responsible to manage day-to-day activities and staff for surgical case cart, central supply, sterile processing of surgical instruments, linen services, medical equipment, shipping & receiving, couriers, and mail operations.  


    This position provides strong leadership to contract and non-contract staff in a series of job classes including hiring, staff development, terminations, and resolution of grievances in contract areas.  
    The Supply Chain Operations Site Supervisor develops and maintains climate of exceptional customer service with actively engaged team, and interacts with hospital department managers and supervisors to establish service levels and to resolve customer complaints.  


    The Supply Chain Operations Site Supervisor is responsible for hospital wide distribution, stocking, and management of inventory levels and expiration dates and is accountable for favorable performance of labor and expense costs for designated supply chain departments. 


    The Supply Chain Operations Site Supervisor actively participates in department budgeting and goal setting process.  This position also serves as subject matter expert on surgical / medical supplies and equipment and recommends and implements opportunities for improvements in customer service, cost reductions, operational processes. 

    Qualifications

    Minimum:
    BA/BS, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Nursing, Related. 
    3 Years’ experience in non-healthcare supply chain, supervisory role, or 1 year experience in healthcare supply chain. 

    Preferred:
    3 years supervisory experience in healthcare union environment.

    CMRP, APICS, Central Processing Certification
