    Fairview Health Services is looking for a Access Management Analyst Associate for our corporate IT office in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full-time position working day hours, Monday thru Friday


    The Access Management Analyst Associate is an entry level position responsible for learning and executing daily operations work associated with provisioning and de-provisioning of user identities and access to various applications. Performs daily functions required to support, maintain, and adhere to the rules and controls for access security to protect the information assets. Works with critical and sensitive information on a daily basis and is relied upon to maintain intended user security safeguards.



    Responsibilities/Job Description


    • Processes user access control change requests, such as adding, modifying, and deleting user and group accounts within our AD platform and various clinical and business applications.
    • Learns how business needs impact provisioning for user-related changes.
    • Participates in access recertification reviews to prevent unauthorized access to data and maintain proper security levels.
    • Performs the day-to-day activities to ensure communication of time-critical information and to maintain consistent customer service levels. Provides a broad level of support to customers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve user access-related issues and escalates for assistance when appropriate.
    • Participates in the review of work processes to identify, design, and recommends improvements for efficiency and enhanced security.
    • Complies with policies, procedures and standards. Accurately and thoroughly documents appropriate detail in request tickets and tracking systems.
    • Applies an understanding of technical solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment to independently research and resolve access related issues.
    • Participates in activities to identify and implement standardization of access support activities.
    • Participates on project-related initiatives related to user access-related changes as assigned.





    • Associates degree in related field or related work experience


    • Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills for process improvement or problem resolution
    • Demonstrated interest in learning new technologies and applications
    • Demonstrated self-motivation and willingness for taking on additional responsibilities


    • If supporting Epic, certification in core applications is required within six months





    • Bachelor’s degree in IT field


    • Three or more years related work experience
    • Experience within the Healthcare Industry
    • Certifications and experience relative to the role
