    The Program Manager, Data Platform Solutions is responsible for initiating and leading strategic projects and programs of high complexityThis position will help design, implement and manage the Healthcare Transformation Center (HTC) and Systems Operations Center (SOC) capability from a data and supporting technologies perspective. This new HTC and SOC capability will enable real-time decision-making for hospital and clinic operations through the utilization of new technology. These capabilities leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to help anticipate issues, keep operational workflows on track and make proactive operational decisions.


    Responsibilities/Job Description

    • Define the overall vision, objectives and key deliverables for the program; identify and track key measures of success. Direct the development of comprehensive project plans that incorporate deliverables, accountabilities and time lines and communication plans.  Provide regular status reporting on health of the program and program progress, as defined by company standards.
    • Deliver a large annual portfolio of technology programs/projects through effective management of staff, budget, schedule, scope, quality and risk. Accountable for program/project communications, milestone tracking, financials, risk assessment and contingency planning and escalation and resolution of critical issues to program/project sponsors/owners.  Develops a strong consultative partnership with executive sponsors and key stakeholders.
    • Work effectively with business partners, vendors and staff to develop the program agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of objectives/deliverables by affected constituencies. Provide proactive communication to program/project owners.  Work to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensure appropriate integration to project plan.  Effectively manage client expectations and resource requirements to ensure ownership and success.
    • Provide day-to-day leadership for all program activities related to delivery of large, complex, major IT delivery programs to ensure the program meets defined success criteria. Align cross-organizational resources to ensure successful delivery of the program, project or release.  Effectively manage program risks and issues ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.  Work with business and technology leaders to recommend program/project scope changes and integrate in to the program/project structure.
    • Proactively share knowledge and collaborate with IT teams to ensure quick and effective responses to customer needs. Maintain up-to-date business domain knowledge and technical skills in software development technologies and methodologies.
    • Partner with technology and operational partners, including 3rd party partners on evolving technology roadmap and developing key product deliverables to support the platform (technology/solutions).
    • Guide a team of developers and data platform support staff to solve meaningful customer problems and mature and develop capabilities.
    • Discover and validate new product opportunities through a deep understanding of internal and external users, technology, and strategy.
    • Participate in the design and software development process and manage product backlog requests with vendors.


    • Capable of partnering with internal and external stakeholders and operations on iterating product deliverables.
    • Comfortable operating in an agile environment, working closely with internal engineering and platform support.
    • An ability to drive end-user behavior change through software utilization.


    Bachelor’s degree in technology field, business and/or equivalent work experience



    • 10+ years Project Management experience
    • Expert level understanding of business functional areas, business management issues and the IT organizations systems and capabilities.
    • Expert level consultative and influencing skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and to effectively manage within it.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills including executive level business & technology partners and presentations.
    • Successful track record of delivering projects/programs/releases on time and within budget that meet quality guidelines.







    • Expert skills in layered projects involving multiple systems and multiple phased deliveries.
    • Proven ability to be broadly focused and manage multiple efforts concurrently.
    • Demonstrated achievements in planning, directing and implementing complex projects on time, within budget and with desired functionality.
    • Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and influencing skills.
    • Ability to relate well at all levels of the organization, building rapport and maintaining collaborative relationships.
