    Fairview Health Services is looking for a Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor based out of the Fairview Park Plaza Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but teaching across the Fairview System.  This is a casual position requiring that instructors teach at least 4 classes each year, classes are taught Monday-Friday.

    Responsibilities/Job Description

    This position will teach system Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) classes for Fairview employees across the Fairview Health System and outside participants that are required to maintain NRP compliance as published by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Heart Association (AHA). Instructors teach NRP classes throughout the Fairview System

    • Responsible for the instruction and testing of multi-disciplinary staff in NRP knowledge and skills
    • Prepares and completes necessary documentation for staff attending classes
    • Present lectures and psychomotor skill stations according to the current edition of the Provider Manual and in accordance with the Administrative Procedures.
    • Evaluate psychomotor skill stations according to the current edition of the Provider Manual and in accordance with the Administrative Procedures.
    • Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment.
    • Complete all documentation as required by the Course Director.


    Required Qualifications

    • Current or working towards AHA/AAP NRP instructor certification.
    • Current or previous healthcare  provider experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2 years of healthcare and  instructional experience
