Responsible for the coordination and accountability of clinical regulatory and accreditation compliance across the organization.
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
3 to 5 years’ experience required in a clinical setting
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Other Required Skills
Experience in Quality and Performance Improvement
Experience working with regulatory requirements, including experience in working with physicians, leaders and staff, experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, and accreditation/regulatory surveys.
Experience in Data abstraction and interpretation and Software management
Knowledge of quality and improvement principles, tools and methods.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission, CMS, MDH, DHS, and other accreditation bodies. Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Data management skills.
Clinical knowledge base with review and assessment of clinical records and data.
